“Patience is waiting. Not passively waiting. That is laziness. But to keep going when the going is hard and slow - that is patience.”

Sawyer & I watched "The Prestige" last night. I'd say that I don't normally like movies like this - movies about magic. Movies about magic kind of ruin the magic of magic for me. This one though - WOW! Now, I have a small crush on Christian Bale but that had nothing to do with my love for this movie. It just captured my attention and made me have the "I MUST KNOW HOW IT ENDS" feeling. My mind was totally blown at the end.

You're familiar with the phrase "Man's reach exceeds his grasp"? It's a lie; man's grasp exceeds his nerve. ~ Nikola Tesla (in The Prestige)

Still no word on the house. The 30 days we gave them is up today but we have no back ups so we're letting this contract ride and see what happens. The Hubs & I are hoping for an answer by Friday. I might bug RR Wednesday to see if he's heard anything. (That's what the title quote is about.) I'm tired of being patient, but what choice do we have? Hopefully we won't have to be patient for much longer. :)
I'm also anxious to get an answer so I can get back to my diet. There is just no point in starting it again until after we get an answer about the house. I'm a stress eater and I'm under a lot of stress right now.
Time to get my bum in gear - it's nearly quitting time!

  1. I'm glad that by the time I read this that you heard back about the house....I'm a stress eater too (and a bored eater, and everything else in between eater) so I understand....oh if you're looking for lower fat options, for ice cream, I suggest The Skinny Cow brand...so yummy. For popcorn (I love popcorn) I suggest Orville Redenbacher's 94% Fat Free Butter kind, it's so good, Cory hates it, but I've gotten reviews from other people at work that say it's pretty good too, so I know it's not just me.
