"The most important time of your life was the time you spent with these people" ~ Christian Shephard (LOST finale)

Jack: Where are we, dad?
Christian: This is the place that you all made together so that you could find one another. The most important part of your life was the time that you spent with these people. That's why all of you are here. Nobody does it alone, Jack. You needed all of them and they needed you.
Jack: For what?
Christian: To remember and let go.
Jack: Kate. She said we were leaving.
Christian: Not leaving, no. Moving on.
Jack: Where are we going?
Christian: Let's go find out.

I've been thinking about the people I call friends and I'm not sure that title always applies anymore. I have "friends" from High School where I always feel left out; "friends" from work that stabbed me in the back; "friends" (pen pals) that I never hear from. I'm reevaluating my life and the people in it and I'm trying to figure out who is worth my time and who is not. I'm finding the ones I thought would be worth it aren't, and the ones I thought I'd better write off may be worth it after all. For the most part, I've just decided to let it be and see what happens. I'm a bit hurt and saddened by some of my "friends" but I shouldn't be because it's not me that has given up. I try to stay in contact with them and I seem to continually fall off of their radar - that's just how life is I suppose.

Things with the house are going pretty well. We've finishe d painting the living room/dining room and the kitchen. The only thing left to paint is the master bedroom, master bedroom closets and the master bath. We may use the extra (unopened!) gallon of light gray we bought for the guest room. I figure if I use bright colors in the bedding and accessories the gray won't be so blah. I'm really looking forward to decorating - not unpacking or cleaning though! haha I'm loving the time we spend at Home Depot!
