“Last week the candle factory burned down. Everyone just stood around and sang Happy Birthday.” ~Stephen Wright

I haven't blogged regularly, and here's why : I have no fucks left to give about anything. Work sucks, home sucks, vacation was alright, my birthday was fine, etc. I'm about 3 seconds away from HULK SMASH-ing my newest co-worker, and that won't end well, so I've decided that I'll do what makes me feel better and complain. It's my blog, it's invitation only, and, as stated earlier, I have no fucks left to give.

My new part-time co-worker (that started AT LEAST 2 months ago!) STILL cannot do the main part of her job - processing and approving orders. I had hoped that this place (work) would have gone to hell in a hand basket while I was away, and she'd be let go, but somehow they muddled through, and PTCW (part-time co-worker) survived until I got back. She was off last week (Thank you universe) so I was spared having to deal with her until today. Now, I'll fully admit that since I made up my mind that I don't like her I haven't exactly been pleasant - BUT, having to say the same things over and over and over and over is not high on my fun list. I'd rather pierce my nose with a rusty paperclip. She's nice, and friendly, but she just doesn't get it, and believe me "it" isn't very hard - ESPECIALLY since she's only doing part of the job right now. I know I shouldn't stress about it _BUT_ one of the things I "got" at my review was a part-timer to help out so that I could start leaving at 5PM. At the rate PTCW is going that will NEVER happen! *sigh*

(I will fully admit that I wrote that yesterday, and, after some thought, realized that I'm probably acting like a bully. Not something I aspire to, so I'm working on that. I'm still frustrated, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt for awhile - but not forever!)

I'm working to post vacation stuff, but I haven't had the motivation to watermark my pictures, and to write it all up. I'm working on it, but it's coming slowly. We had a good time; I saw the Stanley Cup. We ate A LOT of good food and had pizza delivered to our hotel room (in Toronto) - that was never on my bucket list, but I think I should add it. _smirk_

I'm getting really fucking sick of babies, talk of babies, and baby showers. I'm also sick of weddings, and bridal showers. I'm sick of my Mother-in-law, and I'm becoming more and more resentful of my sister-in-law. I'm tired of the way Sawyer's been playing fourth fiddle in the family, and how it _ALWAYS_ comes back around to the goddamn babies. I'm hoping that at some point in the future Sawyer & I can "escape" from the babies bullshit and be left the fuck alone. I know how it'll go "Oh, you can't make it to Jr.'s first Christmas (even though he's only 2 months old)? No, it's ok - we _knew_ you'd run away from the babies!" (That second part ACTUALLY came out of my M-I-L's mouth ("We thought you'd run away from the babies since you don't like kids!" - Yep, for real!).

I'm also afraid that when the baby shower looks like crap that I'll somehow be blamed for the thrown together hot mess that it's shaping up to be. Please, please let me be wrong!
