I made an appointment with a Rheumatologist for May. My shoulder has been killing me and the Orthopedist (NEVER GO TO Dr. Alan Nagal!) said there is nothing wrong. With the pain I've been having I think he's full of shit, and I'm getting another opinion. I'm not doubting that I need to lose weight, but I'm _SURE_ there is something wrong with my joints, and it needs to be addressed. I'm miserable, I'm in pain, and I can't do things I want to do (hike, ride bike, etc.). It's frustrating, and really depressing me.

I finished Helter Skelter on 2/19/14. What an interesting book! I found all the trial stuff interesting, and how all of "Charlie's girls" have turned their lives around, but Charlie hasn't done anything to try to earn parole.
I also finished Five Days in November (in a couple of hours!) on 2/20/14. It was a pretty interesting book, and pretty much debunks the only conspiracy about JFK's assassination that I could see happening (a Secret Service agent in the car behind the president accidentally shooting JFK when they screeched to a halt after the first shot). The Secret Service agent directly behind the president didn't have his weapon pulled at that point. I still want to read another book or two about the JFK assassination, but it's not a priority. I have a million other books I want to read first.
I started Dead Mountain: The Untold True Story of the Dyatlov Pass Incident on 2/24/14. I haven't gotten very far into the book yet, but it's pretty interesting so far - I can't wait to get deeper into it.

Sawyer & I went up to the Keystone State on the 14th, _and_ the 22nd for a Bears' game. They won the first game (2/15/14 vs. Wilkes Barre / Scranton Penguins), but lost the second game _horribly_ (2/22/14 vs. Syracuse Crunch). No matter what I'll always want to go to games, but the second one was awful - really, really awful. I'll post pictures later on (I have to get them off of my camera).

Sawyer & I saw The LEGO Movie on 2/23/14. We both loved it. I sing "Everything is Awesome" all the time! We'll definitely be getting it when it's out on BluRay. The ending was quite a twist for me, and when I found out what "The Kragl" was I snorted. It was a great movie for kids AND adults!

I found this quote from Ellen DeGeneres, and I agree so I thought I'd share.
“The only thing that scares me more than space aliens
is the idea that there aren't any space aliens. We can't be the best
that creation has to offer. I pray we're not all there is. If so, we're
in big trouble.” Ellen DeGeneres
