My Mother-in-Law called last Tuesday evening to say that her first Chemo treatment went pretty well. She'll have a port placed in the middle of November, and then her next treatment is the following week.

My head isn't organized in the slightest, and I'm only really updating this in case anyone is reading, and wonders where I am, and how I'm doing. Here's some things in list form that have come up, or come to my attention since my last post. 

"Frozen" is just Disney's "The Shining".

After 4(!) trips to the shop, we finally have non-squealing brakes on the Scion. I'm still annoyed with the shop owner that it took this long to put good (=more expensive) brakes on. He likes to use the cheap ones, and never gives options. From now on we'll be requesting brakes from Toyota for the Scion. The Subaru hasn't needed new brakes yet, so we'll see on those - but I doubt we'll want to go with the cheapest option. 

Tom Magliozzi from Car Talk passed away. I read it is due to complications from Alzheimer's. I'm so sick of that disease! I don't know if I've mentioned it here, but Sawyer & I like to listen to Car Talk on our drives up to the Keystone State.

I'm going to be using a different watermark on my pictures.  

Someday I'll get around to posting the pictures from the Baltimore Aquarium trip we took at the end of last month, the pictures from K & D's first birthday party & the pictures from when we went to Shenandoah to leaf peep. The pictures are uploaded, I just need to caption them, and post them, but I haven't had the energy lately.
