"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum." ~Nada (They Live)

It's been a while, eh? Things have been absolutely crazy here. I've had a lot going on, and haven't really had the energy to document it all here. I'll try to get caught up though. I still have a post about the Bears vs. Pirates game we saw in February waiting to be written (I have to add the pictures). There is so much going on in the upcoming weeks that I want to be caught up before they happen, so I'm not writing and posting about it months later.

I've been struggling with Insurance issues (that I won't go into), I'm no longer in therapy, I've got (currently) unexplained chest pain, and more doctors appointments than I can count. Here's a basic run down:

Cardiologist - everything looks good. I had an EKG, wore a Holter Monitor for 24 hours, and had an Echocardiogram. I go back in a year - if nothing comes up before.

Pulmonologist - everything sounds good. I went in because the cough that started February 20th was still hanging around (I had bronchitis - again - and took a z-pack for it. The wet cough cleared up, but I still have a dry, occasional cough). I go back in 6 months.

Orthopedist - my right shoulder is much better. Dr. Joints taught me how to do self-traction for my neck. I had a pinched nerve.

Physical Therapy - my lower back / hips are much better since I've started Physical Therapy. I had been going 3x a week, but just started 2x per week.

Mental Therapy - my insurance won't pay for more, but, after speaking with Sawyer last night, I've decided to find a psychologist instead of just a therapist. I feel that I have more than depression (possibly anxiety), but obviously I can't self medicate so I want my suspicions confirmed.

Gastrointerologist - my unexplained chest pain may be erosion in my esophagus, so I'm seeing a GI next week. I'll probably need an endoscopy. I've semi-convinced myself that I've got Esophageal Cancer, but I'm probably being a hypochondriac.

Over all health - still need to lose weight, still need to cut back / stop drinking caffeine, changed my anti-depressants (not working - giving me brain blips, and making my depression worse).

So - that's where I am currently.

Sawyer & I saw K & D this past weekend. They're so tall now! I keep forgetting that they're only 1 and a half! They're so smart too - they know their colors, some letters and can count. When did they get so big?!

Speaking of nieces - L is having another baby! I'm not sure if L & J are finding out the sex or not, but I have a feeling they're having a little girl.

There are a LOT of babies coming on Sawyer's side of the family (his mom's side specifically). His cousins R&K are having a baby in July, and his cousins M&K are having a baby in October! L is due in August.

(This is how I feel when I read the news!)
