"Oh, how we cried the day you left us" ~Vince Gill

I know your life
On earth was troubled
And only you could know the pain
You weren't afraid to face the devil
You were no stranger to the rain

Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son

Oh, how we cried the day you left us
We gathered round your grave to grieve
I wish I could see the angels faces
When they hear your sweet voice sing

Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son

This song has always reminded me of my Grandma S. I can't explain why, it just does. I miss her terribly lately. Today is her birthday. I wish she was here to give me tips on my apple pie and to give me a hug. I love you Grandma, and I always will.
