Friday Four
A collection of 4 things that have been on my mind lately.
(I've been away for awhile - mostly struggling. I want to get back into blogging because this is pretty much my diary.)

1.) I finally have a diagnosis!
My Neurologist diagnosed me with Autonomic Dysfunction, and POTS.One of the symptoms of POTS is unexplained chest pain. I've had no explanation for my chest pain after testing by my Cardiologist, and the x-rays my Rheumatologist took show nothing.
There is no cure for POTS. My Neurologist is having me drink 2 liters of water a day (to up my blood quantity), but it didn't really help. I saw a new Cardiologist yesterday (my old one is a JERK) and he said *****
There is nothing that can be done for my heat intolerance/temperature issues.
One day I'll list all of my diagnoses and issues! (That'll be a _BORING_ post!)
2.) Added Abilify / Changed Gastro
My psychiatrist put me on Abilify to hopefully stop my obsessive thoughts. I'm not sure it's done that, but it _has_ made me more productive. I get more done in the mornings and after work then I have in _YEARS_.
My Gastroenterologist changed my reflex medication because of my POTS diagnosis. The stuff I was on (******) can lower blood pressure so he wants to make sure that I'm not on meds that do that.

3.) Lush
I've started becoming REALLY into Lush. I ordered the No Drought dry shampoo, the Buffy body buffer and the Pumice Power foot soap on my first order. The No Drought worked really well for Sawyer while we were on vacation. It didn't work for me only because I'd start to sweat again _immediately_ after using it, so it was basically wasted. I'd still buy it again for camping (we still have about 3/4 of the bottle left, so a re-purchase will be awhile away. The Buffy body bar is AMAZING. Mine melted because I ordered it in the dead of summer, but I just put it in the fridge and it re-solidified. I bought another one not that long ago, and just bought a big one when we went to the store in Baltimore. It works really well on my Keratosis pilaris (chicken skin rash). The Pumice Power is hard for me to use, but it smells amazing, and I think it does work.
While at the store, I bought the Charity Pot, Popcorn lip scrub (I wanted bubblegum - they were out), more Buffy, a bar of Montalbano shampoo bar (and storage tin), Veganese conditioner, MMMelting Marshmallow Moment bath oil, and a Strawberry Feels Forever massage bar. Not a cheap shopping trip, but hopefully it all works wonderfully for me.
I'm a Lushie now. _smirk_
4.) Family Pictures
We met Sawyer's family at Hershey Gardens for family pictures. I look like a fat cow, but I'm still glad we took the pictures. There is a _REALLY_ nice picture of Sawyer's parents together that I'm really thankful Sherry took. All the pictures of K, D, & S came out great, of course. It's nice to have these pictures, and I hope we can do them every few years. (And hopefully I lose some weight in between!) I think they're memories we'll cherish.
