“The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don't want, drink what you don't like, and do what you'd rather not.” ~Mark Twain

Tomorrow I see a Neuro-Ophthalmologist. Tonight I re-start Physical Therapy on my knees. Friday I see my Psychiatrist. I saw my GP last week, and I got new glasses/contacts on Saturday. I am officially falling apart. I still have to see the Electrophysiologist next month. I'm tired of seeing doctors much less seeing the specialists of specialists. ~January 25th post
So now I've seen the Neuro-Ophthalmologist, restarted Physical Therapy, seen my psychiatrist, gotten my new glasses, and seen the Electrophysiologist.

The Neuro-Ophthalmologist sent me for an MRI, and wanted me to do an EEG through my Neurologist. I did the MRI yesterday at a different place than where I usually go. It was an open MRI and it was short, so it was pretty easy. I'll definitely go there again. The EEG was declined by my insurance because the place that does the test is "out of network".

Physical Therapy is going well. I've only had one session so far, but they gave me my exercises to do at home so I need to start doing those.

My psychiatrist and I decided to change my medications. We're cutting back on my anti-depressant and switching my anti-anxiety medication. I'll be starting those later this week.

Nothing exciting to note about my glasses / contacts. My glasses are cute and I can see with my contacts so that's that.

Monday Jeff & I went into NW D.C. to the Electrophsyiologist. The doctor thinks that I do _not_ have SVT. He thinks it's just the way my heart beats. He's told me to stop taking one of my medications (Propanalol) and then to do a tilt table test and an EP test. I'm not looking forward to this testing but the doctor said that it will decide whether I have SVT or not. I had hoped that yesterday's meeting would have been the only one needed, but I'm not that lucky. As an aside - the doctor I saw graduated from the same college Sawyer went to.

I decided that for my 40th birthday I want to go to Disney World. I've got a lot of work to do before that can become more than a fantasy, but it's my goal. There is a camping resort where I'd be happy to stay as I'm planning to go in January. I'm thinking of getting a fitbit or something similar to keep me on track. I've been good with drinking non-sugared drinks and only having drinks with sugar occasionally.

Speaking of vacation ideas - we haven't decided where we're going this year. I hope we can decide soon so we can book our campsite and days off.

I still have so many posts to post about - the PA Ren Faire, hockey games, and birthdays and I have no idea when I'll get to them. Hopefully some day soon!
