To the surprise of no-one I survived my EP Test and Tilt Table Test. I wasn't worried about the tilt table test too much - I'm not even sure I mentioned it here. It confirmed autonomic dysfunction and Orthostatic Tachycardia so nothing new there. I think I stopped being worried about the EP test when I changed into the gown and grip-y socks.

The EP Test was simple. At one point I got myself upset because I was at the hospital since 8:30 am but didn't go for that test until around 12:30 pm. I'll admit - I cried a little. I was in my gown with a hairnet on and ready to go and we just didn't go. It was upsetting because I was anxious, hungry, and just wanted to go home. The test itself was easy on me. The twilight anesthesia was no big deal. I thought I'd be awake but I was _OUT_. Thank goodness. Laying still for 4 hours afterward was a pain in the tush but my incision seems to be healing well. I'm anxious about that now - Sawyer said it looks like a cat scratch so that's good. I'm being careful not to pull too much on that leg as I don't want to pull it open, but the nurse in recovery said "Don't do anything stupid and you should be fine!" Every now and then I get a tinge of pain, but I think that's because there is a small bruise there. It's hard for me to see so I keep asking Sawyer to check it for me.

Laying still for 4 hours was tough, but I had been moved to a room with a TV so that made time go a little faster. Sawyer was able to be a bit more comfortable too. Everyone at the hospital was really nice. Sawyer was able to get something to eat - the hospital had a Panera Bread so Sawyer got me some macaroni and cheese. I was discharged at around 7 pm after having to prove I could walk without my incision opening. The drive home was pretty easy because rush hour traffic was pretty much done.

I have to brag on Sawyer now. Every time he was able to come back to be with me - after prep, after my tilt table test, after the procedure - he was there just rubbing my arm or just being there. He didn't eat until I could eat even though I told him several times to go get something. He got us there with no problems, and didn't complain about me having to be there so long (we didn't get home until after 8 pm, after leaving at 6:30 am to be there on time). He also didn't say a word when I asked him to stay home with me yesterday. (I wasn't feeling 100% so I stayed home from work.) He just did his own thing while I slept (ALL DAY - literally. I only got up to eat or go potty). He is the greatest husband there is.
