Well, I don't even know where to start with this post. Things are sort of falling apart right now. Sawyer's mom was diagnosed with Lyme Disease last week. She's being treated for it, but is now having surgery on Friday for something else. (As far as I know it's not a result of, or tied to the Lyme Disease.) I'm not going to talk about her surgery until it's done. I don't have many details to share that I'm comfortable sharing in such a public forum.
Gran isn't doing well. She's home now, and I believe that there is 24 hour care lined up now. Mother-in-law was still staying there a couple of nights a week until the Lyme Disease diagnosis. I know that it was decided to get her a hospital bed, and a wheelchair, but she refuses to use either. Sawyer & I need to get up to the Keystone State to visit them, but we haven't decided when yet.
The only good news I have is that K & D's birthday party was nice. I'd love to share pictures of them destroying their smash cakes, but I'm not comfortable posting pictures of them on here. I will post some pictures from the party, but none of them with their cakes. K was very dainty with her cake, but D demolished hers. They were spoiled rotten, and seemed to like the attention. It was a good day.
ETA: There is other good news I forgot to share! Sawyer's cousin's boyfriend (J) bought a bar! It's been a dream of his, and now it'll soon be a dream fulfilled. I'll share more about it when it opens (which could be late this year!).
