Sawyer's Mom came through the surgery well. From what Sawyer's Dad said there were a lot of tumors. The tumors are being tested, and they'll know if they're benign or not. She has a follow up on October 20th to go over the results.

It sounds like the surgery was done laparoscopically because if MIL is feeling well she can go home tomorrow. (From what Sawyer & I understand if she had full on - cut you open - surgery she'd be in the hospital for a few days.)

I'm so glad that things went well. Having to have the surgery at all sucks, but I'm _SO_ grateful that things went smoothly. Sawyer said that the surgeon was very happy with how the surgery went.

Now we wait to see if that ugly C word comes up.
