Friday Four
A collection of 4 things that have been on my mind.
A collection of 4 things that have been on my mind.
1.) Doctor Appointments
I've been feeling like crap lately so I made an appointment with my Primary Doctor for Monday. Hopefully that she'll be able to get me straightened out - my symptoms are starting to scare me.
I saw Dr. Guts last week about my BRAVO results. He said there was no sign of acid reflux. He said that there is bile coming back up though. He said my cough is a reflex cough caused by the bile making a nerve reflex to make me cough. Not the answers I was hoping for, but answers none-the-less. He changed my meds around, so we'll see if that helps. I go back in about a month to see if the meds are helping.
2.) Birthday Sadness
My birthday was on Sunday. I've had a hard year so I was looking forward to getting lots of birthday cards and messages on FaceBook, but it didn't happen. My own Mom forgot my birthday. I know that I just turned 32, but it still hurts to hear "I forgot" especially after you've told people that you've had a hard year. I know it's selfish of me, but I'm thinking of skipping sending birthday cards to friends next year. Like I said earlier, I'm trying to cut down on my stress, and maybe save some money too.
3.) D & K
We saw D & K this past weekend when we went to the Baltimore Aquarium with Sawyer's family. We had a good time. D & K seemed to enjoy the Aquarium for awhile. L said they were up early to get to the Aquarium on time, and they were ready for lunch early. K wished me a happy birthday in the tiniest little voice. It was adorable. I'm so glad we got to go to the Aquarium with them. I loved sharing it with them.
4.) Vacation Planning
I asked Sawyer if he'd be able to buy our plane tickets for vacation. I just can't handle dealing with that now, and we're getting close to the "ideal" time to buy them. Luckily he said he doesn't mind. This weekend we're going to buy our luggage and then we're getting pretty close to done - as far as shopping goes. Just a few more things to pick up and we're ready to fly!
