"Well, Clarice - have the lambs stopped screaming?" ~Dr. Hannibal Lecter (The Silence of the Lambs)

Every day we're getting closer to our first vacation that requires an airplane. I finished booking our hotels last week. I bought rain coats and fleeces (just in case!). We chose the Trail Model Rainwear Jackets, and the Trail Model Polartec Fleece Jackets. They're LL Bean, so I think we'll get a lot of use out of them before, and after vacation. We'll be buying our plane tickets, buying travel insurance & reserving our rental car in August. The only thing I have left to do this month is to pick up a mail hold card. I'm doing my best to stay organized, but I'm not sure it's working.

I bought a first aid roll and 2 travel tissue holders for this trip. (Both of those are amazing quality, and were shipped with care and speed - I'd definitely buy from those sellers again.) I also bought a makeup bag to use as a purse which hasn't arrived yet.

I'm getting nervous and anxious and antsy all at once. I want to go, but I'm nervous that I'll be too out of shape and will be miserable. We're doing a lot of stuff in the National Parks, but we're also doing a lot of touristy stuff. I'm excited for all of it. I'm trying to be healthier, and trying to eat better so that maybe I'm not too out of shape by the end of September!

I have so many things to post about -  our trip to NYC to see Kinky Boots, our first visit to Wolf Trap for the National Symphony Orchestra playing the score to Back to the Future, our trip to see Jaws in the theater, our new deck - but I haven't had the energy to edit and watermark the photos. I hope to get to them soon. I also want to finish blogging about our wedding (that was nearly 6 years ago). I'm going to try to stick to a schedule of posting, and will - hopefully - be able to get some scheduled.

I have an appointment with my psychiatrist next week. I want to cancel the appointment and find a new psychiatrist, but I'm afraid that going that route will mess up my medications. I thought this psych would be alright because he's _just_ for medication management, but he can't even seem to do that right. I called him for a refill of my Lexapro - he told me to do that when I ran out - and he sent the refill in for Wellbutrin (which I hate, and will _not_ take) instead.

I think I'll wait until after this appointment to make an appointment with a new psychiatrist. That way I have a month of the correct medications already refilled. _smirk_

I need to find a therapist, but I just haven't had the time / energy. That's on my list though.

Next week I also see my Gastrointerologist. I received a call a week or so after my Upper Endoscopy that the results from my BRAVO were in - they're negative - and Dr. Guts would like to see me to review medicines. "Negative" sounds terrible - it always makes me think that nothing is wrong - but I don't know anything about Gastroenterology, so who knows!

Sawyer's parents, L & J and the girls came down for a picnic on the 4th. We christened the new deck by having drinks out there, and we even got some snacks in before it started to rain. D & K enjoyed running around on the deck, giving us all high fives and fist bumps.

We were able to grill, but it did drizzle off and on all day. It was a bummer, but we still had a good time. The girls had fun running around and playing, and we enjoyed having everyone there. I can't wait until our next little party.

K wasn't afraid of Uncle Sawyer this time! He carried her into the house from their car, and she'd go looking for him every now and then. It was terribly cute. D was adorable with her colors! When I carried her down the driveway from their car she immediately pointed out the PINK! flowers. Then she wanted to touch it. It was seriously adorable.

We have plans to see Sawyer's family again later this month when we all meet up at the Baltimore Aquarium. I can't wait to show D & K the Puffins - hopefully they'll pick up that word as fast as they've picked up others.
