Friday Four
A collection of 4 things that I have been on my mind.
1.) My Dad
I've been missing my Dad terribly lately. I finally went through all of the stuff that I left behind at my parents house when Sawyer & I moved to Maryland.

2.) Doctors
The Rheumatologist I went to turned out to be shite, so I'm trying to find a new one. My primary doctor recommended one, but they're at the same group as the previous one. The receptionist told me that I have to see Shite Rheum one more time before they'll consider transferring me. My primary doctor recommended another one that _is_ at a different practice, so I'm going to try to get an appointment there first. If I can't get an appointment there, then I'm going to throw a shit-fit until the other place lets me change doctors. _I_ get to decide who my doctors are - not them!
My Neurologist wants me to have Spectracell Testing done, but I'm not 100% sold. It could be helpful, but it's also $300 (OUT OF POCKET). You can see why I'm leery. It could find vitamin / mineral deficiencies that are causing my symptoms, but everything may be fine, and then it's $300 down the shitter. Sawyer & I both tried to find unbiased reviews, but didn't have any luck. Maybe I'll call my primary doctor and see what she says.
I still need to find a Therapist. That should be _buckets_ of fun. I know I need to find a Therapist, but, ugh, trying to find one that doesn't sound like an asshole is a pain. Maybe I should talk to my Psychiatrist to see if he has any recommendations.

3.) Medications & Supplements
I swear I take about 15 pills a day between my prescriptions and the supplements my doctors have suggested. I just started taking a multi-vitamin and 2,000IUs of Fish Oil. I also take 12 prescriptions and 1 OTC medicine (allergy medicine) PLUS the sleeping medicine I take every night. I'm hoping they all help, but we'll have to wait and see.

4.) Family Heirlooms
I found some neat things while going through the stuff my Mom & Big Brother brought down. I found the jar of dimes my Grandma S gave me when I was little. She told me to never spend them, so whenever I used one or played with them (I played bank a lot as a kid) I always wrote down how many I took, and always put them back. I also found my Pap S's address book, my Dad's bible, my Dad's baby necklace from the hospital when he was born, a lock of my Dad's hair from his first haircut, and more! I'm always excited for little things that mean a lot.

I missed last week - I hope that nobody minds.
