Friday Four
A collection of 4 things that have been on my mind lately.
1.) Aunt T
My Aunt T passed away on Sunday, February 21st at 91 (!) years old. My Aunt T was a golfer, and was very fit. She survived with Alzheimer's until 91. I can only hope that will be the case for those that I love most (that they live into "old age").
2.) Piercing
On Friday, February 19th, I got a Daith piercing. It hurt to have it done - of course - but it's feeling pretty good. You can't see it unless you get _right_ _up_ in my ear, but I love it. It's not what I wanted, but I think it's what I needed. (If that makes any sense.) It's rumored to help with migraines, but that's not why I had it done. It would be nice if there is truth to that claim.
3.) Organization
I am falling apart organizationally this year. I think part of it is because of my Ocular Migraines, but I'm not 100%. I feel like something bigger is wrong, but I'm not getting any answers. Any way - I'm trying to be more aware of what's going on and what I have scheduled, so I'm using my Divination Planner to make weekly lists of things I have to do. We'll see how it goes.
4.) Zales
I know I've griped about Zales before, but they're being a pain in my ass again. I sent my engagement ring & wedding band (they're soldered together) out for a repair (one of the small diamonds on the inside of my engagement ring fell out). Sawyer got a call asking him to authorize the cost of the repair which we do NOT have to pay because of the insurance that comes with some of Zales jewelry. Then he got a phone call that my ring was back and was fixed. I called about it and they said that it was NOT fixed that they'd have to send it out to another jeweler. It's been a few weeks so I called yesterday and they said it's in, but they didn't call Sawyer (his name is what the ring was bought under). I'm so frustrated! I actually doubt that the ring is fixed. If it's NOT I'm taking it to another Zales location - maybe they won't be inept. I'll never buy another piece of jewelry from Zales again.
