I swear, now that B(W)F is gone, Bully is playing "Survivor: My Company". She's trying to form alliances with anyone she can. Yesterday it was one of my co-worker friends, and today it's a woman that is very, very nice. I'm afraid that Bully will turn the Very Nice Woman (VNW) against the rest of us. VNW has kids, and Bully has kids, so I wouldn't be surprised if Bully is feeding her a load of crap about her (Bully's) kids - that she's afraid she'll be fired and that she won't be able to take care of her kids (boo hoo - sob story!). The thing is, Bully's husband is a stay-at-home-dad, which is cool, but that puts Bully in the position of having to have a job to pay the bills, and get health insurance, and she thinks (or - thought) that this job was a guarantee. I think she realized that's not the case anymore after last weeks staff meeting. I think she's feeling the pressure now, and is scared - as she damn well should be!

What Bully fails to realize is that the number of people that have gotten tired of her bs is a _LOT_ larger than the "alliances" she thinks she's formed - and if there aren't more annoyed people than "friends" then the annoyed people are certainly louder. If people felt about me the way they feel about Bully - I'd be scared too. Nothing is guaranteed anymore (jobs, pay rates, etc.) so to assume that you don't have to be worried is irresponsible. Hell, I'm even worried that this job will end - there is no sign of that, and I get along with a great number of my co-workers, but we live in uncertain times, and luckily Sawyer & I have plans in place for either of us losing our jobs - I don't think Bully has that. (A "Rainy Day Fund" is _VERY_ important to us - it's not to some...)

Anyway - on Friday evening I worked late (making up missed time from dentist and passport appointments) and when I left I saw Bully coming out of Owner's office - neither of them looked happy. I think she was in there badmouthing all of us to him in order to keep her job safe. The thing is that Owner is a very smart man - he's not going to take her word at face value when he sees how she acts, when she comes in, and how others feel about her. I'm expecting drama today as both Owner and Bully have had time to think over their conversation from Friday - and I don't think it'll end how Bully had hoped. If there is drama today - I'm expecting it to get pretty ugly. Bully is someone who is NOT above hurting others to get what she wants, and I wouldn't put it past her to amp up her bullying again in order to upset me. I have to remember that it's all just posturing, and that by bullying me, she's trying to deflect negative attention away from herself - it's not about me at all.

Earlier today, as I was leaving for lunch, Bully called me in her office to chat. Ugh. I was polite, but didn't say much. I hope she realizes that she'll never get me back on "her side". She burned that bridge.

Last night Sawyer told me that there is an asteroid (meteor? I get them mixed up!) the size of the one that killed the dinosaurs that is a year and a half away from smashing into Mars. It's an E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event - I've watched TOO MUCH Deep Impact!) but since there isn't any (known) life on Mars it's not really going to cause any extinction, it will, however, effect the technology that we have on and near mars. ANYWAY! It'll be neat to see the impact of the asteroid, and the effects that follow. It'll certainly give people who don't think it could ever happen to us something to think about. (It's not a question of IF but of WHEN!) Hopefully an event like this will give NASA some more funding!

Sawyer & I saw the Bears BEAT the Admirals on Saturday. (Final Score - Hershey Bears 3 - Norfolk Admirals 2 - We've never seen the Bears beat the Admirals!!!) The Bears overcame a (basically) rigged game! The Ref was TERRIBLE - he would see a blatant infraction (hooking, holding, etc.) and not call it! The Bears goalie (Philip Grubauer) was _AMAZING_. He made a lot of great stops - even going into a complete split once to stop the puck! It was a _REALLY_ good game!

I can't wait for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2! I _absolutely_ LOVED the first movie, so I'm sure I'll _love_ the 2nd one too. Too bad it doesn't come out until September! Tomorrow is Wreck-It Ralph's DVD release date! I'm sure we'll get it right away! _smirk_

I can finally cross off "Get Passport" from my list of "Vacation - To Do"! I should have it in a few weeks. The process was very easy, but I'm still glad I won't have to do it again for another 10 years! Now I need to get on my "Sawyer's 30th Birthday - To Do". I need to start sending autograph requests out for him. I ordered a "Do Not Bend" stamper today, and it should be here pretty soon, so I can get them in the mail.
